This policy explains what ASIN Assassins (“we”, “us”) collects when you use asinassassins.com or join our membership, and what we do with it. Questions: kyle@asinassassins.com.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, and your message.
- Membership sign-up: your name, email address, Discord username, and any comments you add.
- Payments: handled by PayPal. We receive your name, email, subscription status and payment amounts from PayPal. We never see or store your card or bank details.
- Usage data: Google Analytics records pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location, using cookies.
- Spam protection: our forms use Google reCAPTCHA, which collects device and interaction data to tell people from bots.
How we use it
- To answer your questions.
- To run your membership: granting and removing your access to our Discord server, and sending your welcome and membership emails.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else handles it
PayPal (payments), Discord (member access), Google (analytics and reCAPTCHA), and our web host. Each handles your data under its own privacy policy.
Affiliate links
Some links we share, including Amazon product links, are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. When you follow an affiliate link, Amazon or the retailer may set their own cookies.
How long we keep it
Membership records are kept while you are a member and for as long as we need them for tax and accounting afterwards. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to answer them.
Your choices
You can ask us to show, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing kyle@asinassassins.com. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
